Brief Abstract of Lower Norfolk County and Norfolk County ~ About four or five years ago, the Abstractor of these wills was employed to examine the titles to a large number of timber tracts, situated in Norfolk County, and to carry the same back to the original grants. The first obstacle he found in his way was the lack of an Index, for the years 1637 to 1753, and it was, therefore, necessary to index deeds and wills for that period.
